Centrally located in the small hamlet of Crowntown, Crown House and Lodges is just 3 miles from the ancient market town of Helston. The town is famous for its annual Flora Day celebrations and the traditional Furry Dance, which takes place through the streets each May. Helston provides a useful base for exploring the Lizard Peninsula, with a range of shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants and everyday amenities, as well as being within easy reach of some of South Cornwall's most attractive beaches and coastal villages.
Helston is ideally placed for exploring Cornwall's dramatic southern coastline, with the Lizard Peninsula stretching south towards Lizard Point. From Crown House and Lodges, visitors can easily reach a variety of sandy beaches, sheltered coves and scenic coastal walks along the North, South and West coastlines. Popular destinations include Mullion Cove, Poldhu Cove, Gunwalloe and Kennack Sands, while the surrounding countryside offers plenty of opportunities for walking, sightseeing and discovering Cornwall's rich mining and maritime heritage. ```
The picturesque fishing harbour of Porthleven is only around a 10-minute drive from Crown House and Lodges. Once an important fishing and commercial harbour, Porthleven is now a popular coastal destination known for its working harbour, independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. The harbour and surrounding coastline provide an attractive place to explore, while the South West Coast Path passes through the town, making Porthleven a convenient base for coastal walks and exploring the dramatic cliffs and coves of this part of Cornwall.

Crown House & Lodges Bed & Breakfast offers you the independence of having your own space (the key to your own front door) in our purpose-built lodge building within the garden.
We have four en suite guest bedrooms they are spacious and light and we offer breakfast in our breakfast room in Crown House.
You also have full use of our purpose-built guest facilities within Crown House, this includes a kitchen and lounge area, there are plenty of games and books for you to enjoy.
We will set you up for the day with a delicious breakfast and then you have the choice of sampling local restaurants, grabbing a takeaway/getting it delivered or stopping off at a farm shop or supermarket and cooking yourself lunch or an evening meal.
