Rock in North Cornwall

Rock is a tranquil, much loved area of North
Cornwall. It is situated in the parish of St. Minver on the east side
of the Camel Estuary, a short ferry ride from the fishing village of Padstow.
The estuary is an area of outstanding natural
beauty and is well known for its beaches, watersports, golf and coastal
scenery. Well marked scenic walks lead to the Coastal Path and the sandy
beaches of Rock, Porthilly Cove, Daymer Bay, Polzeath and Lundy Bay.
These and other more secluded bays offer
everything from sand dunes, rockpools and family beaches to stunning cliffs
and Atlantic surf.
