Costislost Farm is a historic and peaceful manor house situated in spacious grounds within a woodland setting 3 miles from the Cornish town of Wadebridge and 7 miles from a range of beautiful white sandy beaches suitable for sailing, swimming and surfing.

It is tucked away from the main road and approached by a private driveway lined with rhododendrons, offering the discerning guest the pleasures of peace and seclusion amidst hills, fields and woods.

A bridleway links the property to the Camel Trail which follows the Estuary all the way to Padstow on the coast – perfect for walking, mountain biking or hiring cycles. There are also local stables for horse riding, and a host of nearby picturesque village pubs and quality restaurants for those who would rather take things a little easier!

The farm produces wholesome beef for local markets, whilst small by modern standards animals are cared for and well treated. Guests are welcome to enjoy seasonal activities such as calving in the spring and harvesting in the summer if they so wish. Enhancement of the property is always at the forefront of our minds and we have recently restored a neglected Victorian wildlife pond, which includes a pump house and buttery in a beautiful wooded and secluded setting at the edge of the lawn. The property has also been recently redecorated throughout.

A spacious self catering apartment in the upper floor of the Victorian Manor House with it’s own separate entrance through the walled kitchen gardens.

Accommodation consists of:

• Large comfortably furnished south facing living room with wood burning stove and stripped wooden floor, colour TV and video.
• Four huge bedrooms, all furnished with period furniture; one king size four poster room with stunning views over the lawns, fields and woodland, One double ensuite room with rural views and two twin rooms.
  All bedrooms have good outlooks, original fireplaces and period furnishings. Huge kitchen/diner with large farmhouse dining table and chairs.
• Fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. One large bathroom plus one ensuite.

Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast - sleeps 2

Located on the ground floor of the Manor house, this private facility for a couple includes a large shower room with walk in double shower, wc and washbasin, a heated double bedroom with marble fireplace and superb views over the lawns and parkland. Guests also have the advantage of their own private lounge, with slate fireplace and a TV, to relax in, where refreshments are served.

Breakfast is served from 8.30 a.m. unless with prior arrangement. Continental or full English options, or perhaps the famous Farmer's special, are available! Breakfast is served in the farm dining room.
