The Cormorant Hotel nestles on the hillside, high above the glorious River Fowey; an independent luxury hotel, in a wonderful and peaceful setting, we pride ourselves on the personal touch. You can just relax, or fill your days visiting a host of places of interest nearby.

Our comfortable lounge, with it's panoramic window overlooking the river, is the perfect place to while away an hour or two, watching the waders and sea birds that abound at low tide.

Our cosy bar comes alive in the evening, when you can enjoy an aperitif whilst perusing the dinner menu, or later spoil yourself with a nice drink after dinner.

The Garden Terraces are places to relax, with a drink, a book, or just the view.

Bed & Breakfast prices range from £45.00 to £105.00 per person, per night, based on two people sharing a room.

The Rooms: All guest bedrooms have a fine river view; all are en-suite and have lovely beds with goose feather and down duvets and pillows (man made option available), and cotton bed linen. All are equipped with flat screen digital television, free wireless broadband access, and hotel beverage facilities. Every room has been thoughtfully furnished to provide you with the most relaxing space possible so that you can enjoy these beautiful surroundings in comfort.

Our Cormorant Room has an outstanding view of the River Fowey from its private balcony. With a large bathroom with roll top bath, king size bed and mini bar.

Although described as a Standard Room, there is nothing standard about it - not all hotels are the same!. Each en-suite room has a bath plus power/massage shower over.

Enjoy Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner in our The Cormorant Restaurant, or in fine weather eat on the terrace, immersing yourself in the breathtaking sights and sound of the River Fowey.

When the evenings gets cooler a wood burning stove transforms the restaurant.

Our team of Chefs, headed by Martin Adams, produce a sumptuous 4 course dinner menu with daily variation's

Single Occupancy We regret that no reductions can be made, in high season, for rooms occupied by a single person

Smoking All of the hotel buildings, including the bedroom balconies, plus the outdoor dining terrace, are non smoking areas, and guests are requested to respect the comfort of others- There are still delightful areas of the garden where a cigar or cigarette can be enjoyed Cleaning charges will be applied to any guest who smokes inside the hotel.

Pets In order to maintain the level of cleanliness and hygiene expected by our guests, we regret we are unable to permit any pets whatsoever.
