North Cornwall
An unusual and peaceful holiday destination
in Cornwall
Set in 8½ Acres of woodland and meadow
Coombe Mill is set in 8 1/2 acres of land
comprising woodland, meadow and a stream.
Whether
you seek the chance to visit some of North Cornwall's beautiful beaches,
to enjoy the great outdoors and nearby watersports or simply want to escape
the hustle and bustle and relax with 2 excellent pubs within walking distance
then this is the perfect spot.
QUALITY SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation is on 3 floors and comprises
1 en-suite double bedroom (with King-size Bed) on the top floor
and 2 further bedrooms (1 Double and 1 Bunk Room)
on the lower Ground Floor with separate bathroom and shower.
The middle level of the Mill has an open
plan Living Room with TV and Dining Room with access to a fully fitted
kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. A spiral staircase takes
you up to a balcony and the en-suite master bedroom. Electric storage
heaters provide heating, and there is also an open fire and a supply of
wood.
The garden with picnic table/bench offers
the opportunity to enjoy alfresco dining and opens out on to the meadow
where you can take a walk along the stream. There is gentle outdoor lighting
so that you can make use of the garden on warm evenings.
A Haven for Wildlife
Coombe Mill is a haven for wildlife, including
foxes, badgers, owls, buzzards, jays, bats, pheasants and partridges.
There are wild brown trout in the stream, and sea trout in season. There
is no road or rail noise, only the sound of the stream, so you can completely
relax.
The Mill is ¾ mile from Chapel
Amble and approximately 4 miles from Wadebridge.
It is an easy 15 - 20 min. walk to the Malsters
Arms in Chapel Amble - a "good pub guide" listed public house,
which serves great food and ales in warm and friendly surroundings.
Chapel Amble also has a local Post Office/Shop
and art gallery. St Kew, with another excellent pub is 1¼ miles.
