the estuary, 3 miles of golden sandy beach, surfing, golf and coastal
walks.
Other attractions easily reached from Connor Downs are
Land's End, St Ives and the Tate Gallery, St Michael's Mount at Marazion,
Falmouth and the National Maritime Museum.
The Eden Project near St. Austell and also various National
Trust properties and gardens throughout the County.
The village has a local garage/shop, Post Office and
Public House - all within walking distance.
Connerton is situated down a quiet lane, in it's own
grounds and has excellent views towards Hayle Towans and St. Ives.
We are ideally located near the main A30 through Cornwall
and approximately 20 minutes by car from Truro, Penzance and St Ives.
Directions
From Exeter and the end of the M5 motorway, follow the
A30 through Cornwall, for approx. 100 miles, until you reach the roundabout
at the entrance to Hayle.
Take the first exit on this roundabout and this will take
you up into Connor Downs.
After you have passed 'The Turnpike Inn' on your left,
start looking for No 44 Turnpike Road on your right hand side. Directly
opposite this house is a lane and as you drive down we are the bungalow
in front of you.
