Formerly a working dairy farm, Coldharbour Farm is situated in a tranquil, secluded setting within walking distance of the historic Cornish county town of Bodmin

Six traditional stone cottages have been imaginatively converted from farm buildings dating from the 1800s. These comfortable cottages are arranged around a delightful, atmospheric courtyard. The colourful flower borders provide a contrast against the traditional local stone with a raised fishpond providing the soothing sound of running water, this is a haven for relaxing, outdoor eating or enjoying a drink in the late evening as the sun sets.

Unwind in our lawned garden with views over Bodmin town and the surrounding countryside. Barbecues are available for enjoying a meal with family and friends. Have fun playing table tennis, pool, darts or table football in our games room. Children can enjoy our enclosed play area. A laundry is available with washing machines, tumble dryers and ironing facilities.

LOCAL AREA

Within a few miles of Coldharbour Farm are the awe inspiring Bodmin Moor, the fine Cornish National Trust estate at Lanhydrock, superb cycling and walking on the Camel Trail and for the wine connoisseurs, the Camel Valley Vineyard. For railway enthusiasts the Bodmin and Wenford Railway is a short walk away.

Set in the heart of Cornwall, approximately 20 minutes from north and south coast, Coldharbour Farm is your key to unlock a treasure chest of Cornish jewels. When you set out to explore you’ll discover golden beaches, rugged coastline, picturesque villages, historic buildings and famous gardens a short drive away. Ancient fishing villages and harbours such as Polperro, Fowey, Port Isaac, Boscastle, Tintagel and Padstow dot the spectacular coastline while sandy beaches provide a Mecca for bathing, surfing and bodyboarding. Close by are the world famous Eden Project and the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan.

The six pretty cottages at Coldharbour Farm are well fitted throughout and have been decorated and furnished to provide comfortable accommodation for families and friends. Our smallest cottage is designed for 2 people, the largest accommodates 7.

Originally the barn where the Coldharbour bull was kept. This cosy cottage incorporates a fitted kitchen/dining area. Double bedroom. Shower room/WC.

Magpie - Accommodates 4.
The ground floor of a two storey barn originally the milking parlour. Now a bright cottage with open plan living/dining area incorporating a well equipped kitchen. Double bedroom and twin bedroom, bathroom/WC with over bath shower.

Swift - Accommodates 5.
Originally one of the milking barns. Now a detached cottage with spacious open plan living/dining area incorporating a well equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms, one double bedroom and one double with additional single bed. Bathroom/WC with over bath shower.

Warbler & Chough - Accommodates 5.
Originally the farm stables. Both cottages have an open plan living/dining room incorporating a well equipped kitchen. Double bedroom, twin bedroom and single bedroom. Bathroom/WC with over bath shower.

Kingfisher - Accommodates 7.
The upper half of a two storey barn, originally the hay barn and grain store. This cottage is accessed via nine external stone steps. Now a spacious cottage with a well equipped kitchen and large living/dining area. Four bedrooms, one double with ensuite (bathroom), two twin rooms and one single bedroom, shower room/WC.
