Coast House is a non smoking guest house, offering 4 B&B rooms. A variety of breakfast options are available each day using the best local produce, including fresh fruit, a choice of cereals, fruit juice, full English, or local smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Vegetarian breakfasts always available Room only is also available for those guests
who wish to enjoy our rooms a little longer. Double en suite, sea view rooms, Super King Sea View Room, Family Room and Single Room.
Coast House is a victorian town house built in 1870, for a shipping merchant. In 1903-07 the house was occupied by the American impressionist Walter Elmer Schofield RBA ROI (1867-1944) who was regarded as one of America's leading landscape painters. During his time in St Ives he was a very active member of the arts club.
The town is a perfect base for exploring Cornwall, with all its charming villages, stunning coastal towns and attractions, including St. Michaels Mount, Penzance, Lands End, Mousehole, Minack Theatre, Lizard Peninsula, Tintagel Castle and The Eden Project to mention but a few.
