Our cottages include: Fitted kitchens in all Cottages include Electric cookers, Microwave, Iron, Fridge, Kettle and Toaster. All cottages have videos Bed linen is included. Beds are made up ready for you. Electricity is through £1.00 meter. When the weather is cooler, cottages are heated with Night Storage Heaters at no extra charge. Cots and High chairs free of charge, (please bring your own linen). Towels can be hired at £1 per person per week. Dogs are very welcome but please remember that Clifden Farm is a working farm so we ask that dogs are supervised at all times and not to leave them inside cottages on their own. A small charge per dog is made.

Margaret and Philip would like to welcome you Clifden Farm, we hope you will have a memorable stay in beautiful Cornwall and return again and again.

Clifden Farm Cottages are set in a beautiful part of North Cornwall, between Tintagel and Boscastle, our little hamlet of Halgabron has just a few houses, and views of the sea all around, we are 1¼ miles from Tintagel village with numerous shops including a small supermarket, butcher and fruiters shop and bakery, plus several pubs in the village.

From your cottage you can take breathtaking walks through Rocky Valley to the cliffs, along the coastal path to Bossiney Beach and onto Tintagel Castle, or along the path to Boscastle, or wander up through the woods to St Nectans Glen and the waterfall - all without using your car.

The cottages are part of the original farm, the character still shows with exposed beams and sloping ceilings, they are comfortably furnished and all have remote colour T.V.'s and plenty of room to park your car and a large garden for the children to play.

Upstairs: 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 bunk bedroom and bathroom with bath.
Downstairs: There is a lounge and kitchen/diner, bathroom with shower and utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and deep freeze. A car port and Sunny patio at the back.

We also have a garden apartment sleeping 2 which is 70 yds away from the cottages, it is the wing of the bungalow, with its own entrance through patio doors - has wonderful views across the sea to Lundy Island. It is all on one level, with double bedroom, bathroom, lounge, kitchen diner and a patio with picnic table and parking for your car.

Clifden Holidays at any time of year

All our accommodation is available for short breaks out of the main season, why not come and enjoy the mild Cornish climate in the spring and autumn when the children are back at school and the roads are relatively quiet. The spring time brings a pageant of colour to the hedgerows, winding lanes and gardens, the estuaries are alive with native and visiting birds. Walks along the spectacular North Cornwall coastal path in the autumn are often complimented by sunsets dramatic sunset and rolling waves.

The world acclaimed Eden Project opened in March 2001 has already won some prestigious awards and is a must for your holiday, it is just a pleasant drive away.

Places to see and things to do, when you are ready to explore in the car, drive to Trebarwith Strand ; Visit Port Isaac Park at the top unless you like driving through narrow streets. Polzeath has a lovely surfing beach: Rock and Daymer Bay, Crackington Haven, Widemouth, Bude; the list is endless. Take a longer day trip to Looe, Mevagissey and Fowey, St Ives or even Lands End. You can go horse riding and fishing at Boscastle; sailing and water-skiing at Rock and play golf at Bowood, near Camelford.
