Stunning Countryside
Clay Cottage is set in a delightful mature
cottage garden in a quiet and beautiful wooded location reached by a beech-lined
lane (no through road).

15 mins easy drive to some of the most spectacular and unspoilt beaches
of the North Cornwall and North Devon coast.

For 2006, we have lovingly refurbished the cottage and decorated
it in a "country living" style. Our own house and ceramic studio are next
door, but unobtrusive.
- A stable door leads into the fully equipped cream
fitted kitchen- electric ceramic hob cooker, washing machine, dishwasher,
fridge/freezer and microwave.
- The south facing sitting/dining room has comfy red sofas, TV and CD/radio.
- There is a new well appointed ground floor shower room.
- Bedroom one is extremely pretty and
has a 5ft bed and painted furniture. Bedroom
two has two 3ft painted iron beds and a light blue and cream
colour scheme.
- A travel cot and high chair are available.
- There is an adjoining terrace with
French metal garden furniture. The cottage has its own private back
garden with a lawn and a lovely flower garden at the front and rear.
- The large open and spacious yard at
the front of the property has no through traffic and affords safe
play areas for children. We have ride-on toys for little ones.

courses at Holsworthy,1 mile, Bude, 9 miles. Bikes can be hired
locally. Local riding stables for all standards of riders.
Tamar Lakes, 4 miles, offer
sailing, windsurfing and fishing. Holsworthy's leisure centre offers swimming

Visitors are usually enchanted by the beautiful situation
here at Parnacott. Clay Cottage, a 19th century stone building, is one
of only five homes in this tiny hamlet, the oldest dating back to the
16th century.
This is a lovely place to enjoy the quiet of the countryside
whilst being a short drive from wonderful beaches.
Bude and Widemouth are famous
for their surfing and you can hire boards and wetsuits. Beaches such as
Sandy Mouth and Duckpool
are favourites with children because of their rock pools and the
cliff formations are a geologist's dream!
There are many stunning National
Trust properties we recommend for a day out. There are amazing
coastal walks, picturesque villages such as Port
Isaac and Clovelly as well as theme
parks to entertain little ones.
Our area is an excellent place to buy meat directly from
local farmers and fish that is freshly caught. Altogether, this is a restful
and healthy place to take a holiday break.
