Chyreene Court is superbly located just 200m from one of the finest sandy beaches in the country, which stretches for 3 miles around St Ives Bay.

The six apartments are just metres from the Coastal Path. Every apartment has excellent sea views from the lounge and double bedroom out across the bay, which you can continue to enjoy by stepping outside onto your own private balcony or patio. Many of our guests spend hours just sitting at the windows soaking up the scenery and stunning sunsets.

The apartments overlook a large private lawn, ideal for children and evening barbecues, and are peacefully situated away from the traffic at the end of a short private road.


The beach in front of Chyreene

Riviere Towans, (Cornish for 'dunes') sits at the western end of the beach, renowned for its surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing. The beach is well patrolled by lifeguards throughout the season, safe for swimming and large enough for solitude. You can wander through the miles of sand dunes that back the beach and find somewhere to sunbathe, fly a kite or just sit and enjoy the views. It's often possible to spot some of the dolphins and seals that regularly visit the bay. Also just a few minutes away is Hayle Estuary, an RSPB site renowned for bird watching all the year round.

By night, two pubs are within easy walking distance and there is a good choice of restaurants and pubs in Hayle, just one mile inland. St Ives, with its abundance of restaurants and nightspots is also within easy reach.

Access to the whole of West Cornwall and its many attractions could hardly be better. The Eden Project, Land's End, St Michaels Mount and the breathtaking Minack Theatre, to name but a few, are all within a short drive. St Ives, famous for its art galleries including The Tate, The Bernard Leach Pottery and The Barbara Hepworth Museum, is just a few minutes away. Buses run to and from The Towans during the season and you can connect with the rail network in Hayle. The short coastal train journey from Lelant Saltings to St Ives is ranked amongst the most beautiful in the country.

Whether you prefer to spend your holiday walking, fishing, horse riding, playing golf, surfing, visiting gardens and galleries, or relaxing on some of the most beautiful sandy beaches in England, Chyreene Court makes an ideal and comfortable base from which to enjoy your holiday.

Each Apartment consists of:-

  • Lounge/Dining Area - Comfortably furnished, with TV and DVD player.
  • Kitchen Area - Fully equipped, with fridge, cooker, microwave and all crockery and cutlery.
  • Two Bedrooms - One double (with sea views) and one twin.
  • Apartment number 6 has a bunk bed in the twin room so sleeps up to five.
  • Bathroom - With bath and shower.
  • Balcony (1st floor) or patio (ground floor).

  • Laundrette for guests' use
  • One apartment was designed with disabled visitors in mind having level access and walk-in shower.
  • All heating and electricity is included in the rental price.
  • Our own car park adjoining the apartments. .
  • Linen - Clean duvet covers are provided. Bottom sheets, pillow cases and towels are available for hire.
  • Open all year.
