A friendly family run coastal holiday park set overlooking Kennack Sands on the Lizard Peninsula

Chy Carne is a spacious well kept, clean safe park with level camping & touring pitches many with sea views over Kennack Bay, both electric & non-electric pitches available spread over 13 acres.

We welcome Touring Caravans, Motor-homes, Tents, Camper Vans, Trailer Tents,
Folding Campers of all sizes.

We have 2 and 3 bedroom holiday Static Caravans and also 2 bedroom chalets available for holiday hire situated in a designated area away from our camping & caravan pitches.

Our main touring field pitches are suitable for all types of units, both electric and non-electric pitches available.They are level and are all of generous size, ranging form 10 -14 metre wide.  Hardstandings are also available.

Our Terrace pitches are a minimum of 10 metres wide, both electric and non-electric pitches available. These pitches are level and suitable for Tents/Trailer Tents and small camper vans and have side sea views.

Our camping field has wonderful sea views, these pitches range from 8 metres - 10 metres, the pitches are suitable for all unit types, both electric and non-electric pitches available.

Our Summer camping field has both electric and non-electric pitches available, these pitches are from 8 metres - 10 metres, many having wonderful sea views over Kennack Bay

Non- electric pitches are available in all areas

We have a selection of 2 and 3 bedroom caravans available for hire in our centrally based tree lined park, 2 bedroom caravans sleep up to 6 people and 3 bedroom sleep up to 8 people. Our 3 bedroom caravans are also centrally heated, some caravans are pet friendly (please remember that pets must NOT be left inside any unit unattended).

All our caravans come fully equipped:
2 bedroom caravans are 28ft x 10ft (1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and a double bed in the lounge area)
3 bedroom caravans are 35ft x 12 ft (1 double bedroom, 2 twins (or double) and a double bed in the lounge area)
Duvets & Pillows (but not sheets, duvet cover or pillow covers)
Electric Gas Included in the price.
Shower and toilet (3 bedroom caravans have 2 toilets)
All cooking equipment pots, pans and cutlery
Microwave
Colour TV with freeview
Some with central heating for all year round use
6 seat Picnic benches available at all of the static caravans

We also have a number of 2 bedroom chalets available to hire, that are refurbished yearly and sleep upto 4 people, and have the same equipment as our static caravans. Bedsheets, pillow cases, duvet covers and towels are not provided.

Static Caravans are available from 4pm on day of arrival to 10am on day of departure

We do allow block bookings for groups on our static caravans and we are open 11 months of the years including Christmas & New Year

Reception/Shop:
Our new shop and reception is housed in our new building at the entrance to the park for all your everyday needs, camping and beach goods, toys and gifts.
Fresh Milk Shakes made with real ice-cream available
FREE ice pack freezing service is available.
Chimineas and fire pits may be reserved at our shop, large bags of firewood always available.
(Please note that shop opening times and stock may be limited out of our peak season)

Big Daddies Pizza:
Try our 9" or 12" pizzas, all your favourite toppings available. Open 7 nights a week during peak season.

Catering Unit:
our log cabin will be open most evenings during peak periods.

Bar:
New for 2011, our bar will be open during busy periods serving local real ale, local cider, wine and soft drinks, enjoy a pint or two in our marquee or why not take a 2 pint jug or polypin back to your tent to enjoy.

Games Room:
Our new indoor games room with air hockey & Arcade Games with a fully equipped disabled toilet

Toilet / Shower Blocks:
We have two modern toilet and shower blocks with continuous hot water from our own on site independent water supply ensuring that we have continuous water pressure. Toilet rolls are provided and also hand, shower body and hair wash gels. Hair dryers and electric sockets available, baby changing area, piped music, cleaned and maintained at regular intervals. (A small charge for showers is required through a coin meter.)

Laundrette/Dishwashing room:
4 sinks with free hot water available for dish washing, our washing machines and dryers are commercial size and hold 18lbs of washing, tokens available from the shop/reception. Further dish-washing point with two sinks situated on our Summer Camping field.

Outdoor Games Areas:
Pool table, Table Tennis, Football Table, Swings and Birds nest swing and a large pirate ship.

Marquee:
Our large 125sq metre canvas marquee has lovely views over Kennack Bay, seating is both available inside and out and is available for all to use.

Mobile Fire Baskets/Chimineas:
We have a number of mobile fire baskets and chimineas available for hire.
