Located in beautiful Cornish countryside yet close enough to the scenic South Coast.

Chycara offers bed & breakfast and extensive leisure facilities, in a country house, set in 16 acres of gardens and woodland, in an area of nature conservation importance.

Chycara is an ideal place for exploring the many famous gardens, beautiful coastline and other attractions. The Bissoe cycle path, linking both coasts is on our doorstop.

ROOMS

All our rooms have en-suite bathrooms, together with television and tea and coffee making facilities.

Breakfast is served in our dining room, or in high
summer can be taken outside.

Later this year we hope that Chycara will be supplied with our own spring water.

GARDENS

The garden is a mixture of formal gardens, lakes,
established and newly planted woodland.

There are tracks throughout Chycara with a chance to view the wildlife, including a resident badger set.

Our top field also affords magnificent views of the
surrounding countryside.

AMENITIES

The leisure complex consists of a tennis court,
swimming pool with changing facilities, fitness
equipment and a jacuzzi.

There is a putting green under construction and nearby Killiow Golf Course is about a mile away. As well as the walks in the gardens, there are numerous public footpaths and bridleways adjacent to Chycara and the Bissoe Tramway Cycle Track is close by.

There are pubs in nearby Devoran and Perranwell both of which serve good food, and further facilities in Carnon Downs, all of which are within walking distance.

LOCATION

It is close to Truro and the main line station from Paddington. Newquay airport is about a half hour drive and arrangements can be made to pick up visitors from the airport or station.
