Church Meadow is set on a working beef/arable farm, set on the hillside of this waterside village, above the Fowey River Valley, with wide country views and a glimpse of the water in the creek below. The house is tastefully fitted with good quality bedding and furnishings.

Church Meadow offers wonderful rural views of the open countryside and the Fowey River Valley. Walks over the farmland give you breathtaking views of the river where sailing, fishing and pleasure boats regularly chug up and down the river to visit other creeks and inlets.

The house is entered into a light hallway on the ground floor where there is a toilet, wash basin and shower and two bedrooms each with twin beds.

A short flight of stairs leads to the mid-level where there is a very spacious living room and equally spacious kitchen/breakfast room which includes fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dish washer, tumble drier, and highchair. Both rooms are very light with windows looking out over the garden at the rear, and a door leading to the garden and BBQ area. Another short flight of stairs leads to a master bedroom with double bed and adjacent toilet, wash basin and bath. The sitting room has an open fire place TV/video, lovely views over the valley and patio doors that open onto a paved balcony and large secluded garden with gas barbeque.

Just a five minute stroll from Church Meadow is the peaceful riverside village of Golant it has a beautiful 13th Century Church, a Pub that serves good food, post office and small shop. Walks along the Saints way. Within easy reach of Golant are Coastal paths, beaches, river trips, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and National Trust properties. There is an excellent choice of pubs and restaurants within the local area serving varied menus to suit most tastes.

During May the Ancient Port of Fowey hosts the Daphne du Maurier Festival of Arts and literature. During August, Fowey Regatta week holds its Annual Carnival, Firework displays and a visit from the Red Arrow Display Team.

Cornwall offers many attractions for all ages and interests any time of the year. Accessibility is not difficult with motorway access to Exeter and the A30 duelled carriageway to Cornwall. Travelling from Bristol is just over two hours, London and the Midlands is just over 4 hours, making this part of Cornwall ideal for that getaway break at anytime of year.
