Short breaks at Chapel Cottage

Cornwall's mild climate in the early and latter parts of the year is perfect, when the children are in school and Cornwall's gardens, winding lanes and coastal paths are alive with colour and wildlife, ideal for that short relaxing getaway break away from the office.   We ask that guests refrain from smoking in the house. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Chapel Cottage is over 200 years old, set in half acre of grounds in middle of village a conservation area, it is ideal for a quiet relaxing break.

Close to shops pubs, restaurants, ancient church and the outstanding Roseland Peninsula With its spectacular beaches and countryside it is an ideal touring location for exploring Cornwall.

The Eden Project and Cathedral City of Truro and St.Austell are a short distance away.

Chapel Cottage is a Georgian double fronted cottage with off street parking. The cottage has many of its original features including open fire, clome oven, well, orchard and gardens. We keep our own chickens providing free-range eggs for your breakfast. Full English or continental breakfast to order.

Guestrooms have their own separate stairs. Guests have their own sitting room with TV and tea, coffee-making facilities.

LOCAL AREA

Probus is an ancient village, which has the highest Church Tower in Cornwall and is probably the most central village in Cornwall for touring. Everywhere in Cornwall from Lands End to the Devon border is less than an hour away. The Eden Project is about 20 minutes, Truro, the smallest Cathedral City with excellent shops is 10 minutes away and the Roseland Peninsula with its beaches, rivers and unspoilt countryside is on our doorstep.

Probus has three shops, post office, two restaurants, tea-rooms and a pub a short walk from our door. Walk in the opposite direction and you are almost immediately in a quiet country lane. Our rates are from £28.00 per night per person includes bed, breakfast and beverages. We ask that guests refrain from smoking in the house. Well behaved dogs welcome.
