Castle Milford Mill can be found in the hamlet of Canworthy Water just a 5 minute drive from the A39 Atlantic Highway. Its quiet and secluded riverside location is ideal for those discerning visitors who enjoy the natural charms of the countryside.

Canworthy Water is about 8 miles from the picturesque fishing village of Boscastle and within easy reach of the sandy beaches at Widemouth Bay and Bude. There is a choice of visitor attractions for the younger visitors such as animal park and adventure playgrounds, the market town of Launceston and the legendary home of King Arthur at Tintagel both have castle ruins which are worth a visit.

The local area is known for its walks along the Southwest coastal path and moors, there are also golf courses, horse riding, cycling and safe sandy beaches for surfing and the children.

Cornwall's heritage, history legend and folklore are a fascination for many visitors, genealogy and churches attract overseas visitors tracing their Cornish roots.

Cornwall has a mild climate envied by other UK tourist destinations, the transport links mean that travelling by road from London for example can be as little as four hours, so a short off season break for a relaxing long weekend or one of the many activities available in the off season periods is a distinct possibility.

Springtime in Cornwall brings the early colour to our gardens and the hedgerows along the winding lanes and footpaths. The visiting wildlife to the rivers and estuaries are of particular interest to ornithologists. Castle Milford Mill dates back to the 15th century; it has been thoughtfully restored, retaining many of its original features such as slate floors, and exposed beams.

The working water wheel outside has a wooden gallery over internal workings making it an unusual feature. The accommodation is spacious and furnished in a way that you would expect in a building of this character.

There are three bedrooms, including the galleried master double bedroom which leads to the sun deck outside, the other bedrooms are a twin bedded and double bedded room.

The lounge and dining room have woodburning stoves and colour TVs with freeview and video / dvd. The kitchen is fully equipped with automatic washing machine / dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oil fired Rayburn and many other useful extras

The local pub for eating out and shop are about 4 miles away. Bude & Launceston both have a choice of good shops and supermarkets.
