The cottage is situated in the small peaceful Victorian
village of Gulval. With church and pub, and bus service to the stunning picturesque
fishing village of St Ives. It is close to spectacular beaches
and the rugged Cornish coastline. It benefits from being in easy walking distance
to Penzance town centre, railway station, bus terminal and Isles of Scilly ferry
and heliport. Mounts bay, with its safe beaches, St Michael's Mount and coastal
cycle path are quickly and easily accessible. Gulval church is of great historical
interest and the quiet local pub serves food and is child friendly. The
cottage is ideal for families, being so close to all local amenities, but the
village still retains a traditional Cornish atmosphere. It is close to supermarkets
and food outlets and the leisure centre is 5 minutes drive. This
traditional granite cart house was built around 1895 and has been tastefully converted
to a high standard. It will comfortably accommodate 5 adults and a cot. The
modern kitchen is equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine.
Clothes can be dried outside or tumble drying is available on request at no extra
charge. Three steps down to the open plan, light and airy living
room with pine floor and dining area. There is TV, video, DVD with a selection
of books and children's video tapes and DVD's. The French doors lead to the sunny
paved patio area with garden furniture and lighting suitable for BBQ's and sun
bathing. Bathroom with tiled floor, basin with shaver point,

| WEST CORNWALL
The local area is well known for many outdoor pursuits including
swimming, sailing, diving, boat trips, as well as surfing and wind surfing on
spectacular beaches. There are wonderful sea views and the surrounding countryside
and rugged coastline are perfect for hiking, horse riding and cycling. There are
3 golf courses a short drive away, and in Penzance, on the promenade, is a fine
outdoor salt water Art Deco swimming pool. Open from may until September. The
Terraces are a Suntrap and you can hire deckchairs and enjoy The Pool Cafe too.
West Cornwall benefits from a mild year round climate and sub-tropical plants
and trees are in abundance. Many famous gardens (including Heligan, Glendurgan,
Trebah and Trevarno) are within easy reach. The world famous Eden Project is approximately
1 hours drive. There is a wealth of family attractions too numerous
to mention!
