Hidden down a lane in tranquil countryside, Carnkief Sty is a small but perfectly proportioned romantic bolthole on the North Cornish coast.

Located within the grounds of Carnkief Farmhouse, the Sty is in a beautiful sunny south facing spot, sheltered below oak woodland, with stunning unspoilt countryside views. The fresh, light accommodation is perfectly suited for a couple or small family wanting a peaceful and relaxing break.

On a sunny day relax in the enclosed terrace courtyard, enjoy a barbeque on the lawn, or watch the sunset in the raised secret garden. Alternatively if the weather takes a turn light the log burner and curl up on the sofa in the lounge, or wrap up warm and head out into the surrounding network of paths and bridleways.

The Sty comprises a spacious kitchen diner, cosy double bedroom, luxury shower room and large exposed beamed lounge opening on to a pretty sheltered terrace. The log burner, fuelled with logs from the farmhouse's woodland, combines with solar panels to provide ample heating and hot water all year round. There is also parking immediately opposite the property.

Accommodation

The property sleeps 2 people in total and comprises of the following:

Bedroom with large double bed and wardrobe. Duvets and bed linen provided. Additional accommodation for one child can be provided on a sofabed in the lounge.

Shower room. Towels and bathrobes provided.

Lounge with wood burner. 1st basket of logs provided, additional supplies available at £5 per basket.

Kitchen with dining table. Washing machine, full central heating, fridge/freezer, microwave, stereo, DVD, TV and Barbeque.

The north coast is justly famous for its gorgeous beaches and nearby Perranporth is renowned for its golden sands and surf. Here you will also find a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. The nearby villages of Mithian, Bolingey and St Agnes all have great pubs perfect for a drink or evening meal.

Further afield a wide range of holiday attractions can be easily accessed,the cathedral city of Truro lies just 5 miles distant with the attractions of the Eden Project, Padstow, St Ives and Lands End less than 25 miles away
