The Carriage House

The Carnewas Carriage House is a former stable and carriage house, converted to take advantage of the sea views towards Trevose Head.

The accommodation is fully furnished and centrally heated. The hallway has a slate slab floor, leading off from it is a twin bedroom, bathroom and a king-size bedroom. The Staircase leads you to an open plan lounge which has country and sea views with a double settee, colour TV and video recorder. The kitchen is open plan and fully fitted to a very high standard with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, electric cooker. The Carnewas Carriage House is available from Saturday to Saturday .

Static Caravan 2

The stylishly furnished Swift Bordeaux has patio doors leading on to a decking area. It is equipped with a free standing sofa with pull out settee bed, armchair, coffee table and colour TV.

Adjoining the lounge and fully equipped kitchen is a dining area with table and chairs. The accommodation is complemented with light oak furniture throughout.

The main bathroom has a large shower cubicle with sliding glass doors, light with shaver socket, pedestal basin and toilet.

The Master bedroom has a king size bed surrounded by light oak furniture and has it's own en-suite facilities (toilet and washbasin). The second bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe and bedside cabinet. (place the mouse over the image above to see alternate views of the bedrooms)

The spacious Focus has a vaulted ceiling throughout, and the cleverly designed kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge, washing machine, spacious units and a microwave.

The dining area with table and chairs opens onto the inviting Lounge with colour television. A bed setee will provide for extra sleeping. The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and spacious shower. The main bedroom has ensuite facilities, a king size bed, spacious wardrobes, dressing table and stool. The second bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe and bedside cupboard.

Touring Caravans

The site is set in a 3/4 acre field which is bounded by traditional stone walls. The ground is flat and set to grass which is regularly mowed. Each pitch has an electrical hook up point and there is an emptying point for chemical closets with rinsing tap located within the field. The site is open all year, but it is advisable to book in advance during peak periods. Dogs are accepted only with the permission of the management.

Around & About

We are situated on the north coast of Cornwall just off the B3276 and just 5 minutes walk from the cliffs and features of Bedruthan Steps. If you enjoy surfing or just relaxing on a beach then you can always take a 10 minute walk down to the nearest beach. We are a 30 minute drive away from The Eden Project and 10 minutes drive away from Newquay which has superb shopping facilities for food,surfboards,clothes and gifts. If you like to cycle then you can always go to the Camel Trail and cycle from Padstow to Wadebridge to Bodmin which distance totals up to 19 mile round trip there is no hills on the trail because it has been built on a old railway track. There is Go-Kart racing circuit just 10 minutes walk away. If you want to go Sea Fishing there are regular boat trips leaving Newquay and with some you don't even need to take your own rods. There is lots of attractions suitable for all of the family situated all around Cornwall so there will always be something to do during the day. During the evening most restaurants and pubs open to serve delicious hot meals at a affordable price. Most nights in Newquay there is a range of nightclubs that open up to entertain people with all tastes of music with certain themes on certain days of the week there will be a night that will suit everyone.

Free Fishing

We offer superb Free Coarse Fishing in our very own lakes to residents. We have 3 lakes* that cover ¾ of an acre. We currently have 8 species of fish which most of them are in to specimen sizes:

Ghost Carp : 15LB+
Mirror Carp : 15LB+
Common Carp : 15LB+
Crucian Carp : 2½LB
Tench : 6LB Eels : 4LB+
Rudd : 1LB
Golden Rudd : 1LB

All baits work particularly well but sweet corn always seems to produce the bigger fish
We have 2 rules; Return all fish safely without harming them.
No Night Fishing. * 1 lake under reshaping programme.
