Carn Brea is perfect for guests who want to enjoy the bustle of this unspoilt seaside town, with the sea front, harbour area and sub tropical gardens an easy strolling distance away.

Of special interest is the world renowned Newlyn Art Gallery. The Gallery was established in 1895 for the exhibition of work from the Newlyn School Artists.

Today the Newlyn Society of Artists, which grew out of the Newlyn School, continues to profile the rich variety of work made locally. Early Newlyn School paintings are exhibited within the town at Penlee House Gallery and Museum. The gallery re opens in spring 07, having undergone a £3m expansion.

Close to St Ives, Land's End, and The Minack Theatre, Carn Brea also provides the ideal base for exploring West Cornwall's glorious beaches, eclectic art galleries and World Heritage tin mining sites.

Carn Brea is a large Edwardian house, retaining original features and situated along with other period houses in a quiet cul de sac a stone's throw from the town centre. It has a unique Captains lookout, with stunning views across Mounts Bay from Newlyn across to Marazion and on a clear day, as far as The Lizard.

Divided over five floors and decorated to a high standard throughout it provides accommodation for up to 8 guests in four/five rooms plus cot.
