St. Teath
St Teath is situated between the B3314 coast road and the A39. The village is centred around the beautiful church dedicated to St Tetha, daughter of King Brychan. The village has a fine Inn and essential shops and Post Office. It makes an ideal base from which to tour North Cornwall. In the last century the men of the village would walk to work either to the nearby Delabole Slate Quarry or the silver mine at Treburgett; so there are plenty of interesting walks starting from the village, many leading to the superb peaceful backwoods of the Allen Valley. Flora and Fauna abound in this area. St Teath
