Brambles was originally two traditional Cornish stone cottages with slate roof. Brambles has been fully modernised. Situated in the small village of Rock on the side of the camel estuary it is the ideal base for exploring North Cornwall or just having a peaceful break.
Brambles is within walking distance of all local amenities (eg. Delicatessen, butchers, fishmongers, general stores) along with the pubs, beach, golf course and ferry to Padstow. Wadebridge with larger shops and out of town supermarket is about 5 miles away.
There are three very good sandy beaches close by at Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath where a variety of watersports are available including dinghy sailing, water skiing and wind surfing.
You may prefer to take the stunning scenery of the coastal path, the Camel Trail which follows the old railway line from Padstow to Bodmin, is available to walkers and cyclists, wild life and views are worth the trip alone. Bike hire is available locally if required.
Our central location is ideal for exploring Cornwall's magic whether it is the legend of King Arthur and Merlin or visiting the many National Trust houses & Gardens. English heritage are the trustee's of a number of Castles such as Pendennis and St. Mawes.
