One of the oldest cottages in the village, Boulder Cottage has been lovingly renovated without losing any of its character as our family home of five decades. Brand new, fully-fitted kitchen, mix of hardwood floors and new carpets, leather sofas and TV/DVD, with an enclosed, private walled garden and patio.

ACCOMMODATION

Kitchen: New, fully-fitted units with AEG dishwasher, halogen hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing - machine, coffee maker, kettle, toaster. Back door leading to garden.

Dining-Room: Spacious, bright with table and chairs for 6, sideboard, CD player and games, fireplace. Door opens on to garden.

Sitting-Room: Cosy, with two new leather sofas, armchair, TV, DVD, books, fireplace.

Master Bedroom: double bed, wardrobe, dressing - table. Farm and countryside views.

Second Bedroom: double bed, washbasin, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers. Sea view. (Optional child's single bed.)

Third Bedroom: single bed, chest of drawers, airing cupboard. Sea view.

Bathroom: bath/power shower, loo, washbasin, shaver point.

Garden: quiet and private with mature beds and shrubs, a spacious patio area with table, chairs for 6 and 1 bench. Weber BBQ for guests' use and a shed full of surf boards, buckets, spades, garden chairs - and an extra fridge for storing beer and wine. Also an outside loo and hose for rinsing off sand from beach and wetsuits, as well as a washing line. Up a few steps from the road, Boulder Cottage has a porch for all your beach gear.

Trevone has it all. A beautifully sandy beach (perfect for swimming and surfing; lifeguards patrol in the summer) with a well-stocked surf shop and café, as well as a rocky beach with a natural rock pool for swimming and fishing. This stretch of the coastal path is stunning for walkers and birdwatchers. There's also the famous 'blow hole' on the headland - not unlike a giant 200ft-deep crater.

For golfers, it's a short drive to either Trevose or St Enodoc golf courses.

For food lovers, Rick Stein's wonderful restaurants and patisserie are close by, as is Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Cornwall opening in May 2006.

For surfers, there's Trevone and next door at Harlyn and Constantine beaches. Nearby is the world-class surf of Fistral and other Newquay bays. Also the Extreme Academy at Watergate.
