Bossiney View is a modern, fully furnished
and well equipped private chalet (not part of an estate) in a commanding position
that affords breathtaking sea views towards King Arthur's castle at Tintagel.
The sunsets here are simply spectacular. Sleeps 2 to 4. Situated
5 minutes from picturesque Boscastle and historic Tintagel, Bossiney View enjoys
a breathtaking situation on the rugged North Atlantic coast of Cornwall. Coastal
walks, surfing, horse riding, shopping, country pubs and fine restaurants are
all within easy reach. Within yards of the chalet, the South
West Coastal footpath offers splendid walking, with gorgeous rural scenery and
breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. A short walk away is
Saint Nectan's Glen, the site of an ancient hermitage set in woodland with a delightful
waterfall. Nearby, Rocky Valley has mysterious prehistoric rock carvings. For
sightseeing, visit the historic harbour town of Boscastle, and the legendary Tintagel
with its Arthurian associations. The ancient ruins of Tintagel Castle, perched
high on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, are well worth seeing. Only
25 minutes away, charming Port Isaac with its quaint narrow streets and working
fishing harbour, has excellent restaurants and pubs, as well as a first class
fishmonger selling the local catch, fresh from the sea. A little
further afield is Wadebridge, an attractive town offering excellent shopping facilities.
Less than an hour away, Padstow with its large harbour and aquarium,
also has Rick Stein's world-famous restaurants, making for a wonderful dining
experience. For garden lovers, Cornwall boasts dozens of truly
magnificent gardens, including the well known Lost Gardens of Heligan. The unique
Eden Project, with its vast biomes featuring tropical and Mediterranean flora,
is within easy reach, and makes an unforgettable day out. Full
payment six weeks in advance will secure your booking. |
