Bosayne is owned and run by your hosts Julie & Keith, set close to the SW coastal path in the historic village of Tintagel - legendary birthplace of King Arthur. An ideal location from which to discover the glories of Cornwall, or to simply relax.

All the bedrooms are comfortably furnished. Each room has a hospitality tray with Fairtrade products, hair dryer, clock/radio, colour TV and eco-friendly toiletries. There is a large guest lounge has an open fire with colour satellite television, DVD/video players, lots of reading material and games - the ideal place to relax after a day exploring what Tintagel and Cornwall has to offer.

A hearty, wholesome breakfast to prepare you for your day ahead is served in the breakfast room over looking the garden. Local and Cornish fare is offered together with Fairtrade products. Special diets are catered for.

The coastline is just part of many areas of designated areas of outstanding natural beauty, in spring the area has a display of wildflowers that bring a profusion of colour to the winding lanes, valley walks and SW Coastal Path. The mild temperatures Cornwall enjoys for most of the year brings the early migrating birds to the estuaries and shores, a delight for the bird watchers.

Tintagel Castle is said to be the birthplace of King Arthur; Tintagel Castle and The Great Halls of Chivalry have inspired many to write about that subject but there is more to the village, the Old Post Office, St. Materiana's Church, St Nectan's Glen are an important part of Cornwall's heritage.

The area has two beaches close by, as well as Tintagel Cove, Bossiney at the North end of the village and Trebarwith just a short drive further South (about 10 minutes).

The later has lifeguards in attendance in the busy times of the year, the beach is easily accessed from the road or you could enjoy a pleasant stroll along the coastal path to get to it.

The National Trust and English Heritage both have a number of properties and gardens in Cornwall, these are easily accessible during the early and later times of the year.

The picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle to the North and Port Isaac in the South have a different sort of charm, 14th century cottages, narrow winding lanes and excellent restaurants if you feel like treating yourselves.

Further a field, Bodmin Moor is great for walking, travel through the Bronze Age to the Iron Age, visit the hill top forts, Celtic crosses and stone circles, climb the second highest point in Cornwall when you reach the top of Rough Tor , only 6 miles away, you can marvel at stunning views.

Bosayne Cottage is situated to the rear of Bosayne Bed and Breakfast. It has one en-suite bedroom with a double and single bed. Bed linen and towels are provided. An open plan layout downstairs has kitchen, lounge and diner areas. The cottage comes fully equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, also a colour television and DVD/video players. The village laundrette is within 150 metres.

Travelling by car along the motorways and dual carriageways means you could be starting a short break in about 4 hours from London and only two hours from Bristol. Public transport links are good too.

We offer discounts for multiple night-stays throughout the year; you will get a warm welcome whenever you decide to visit.
