In Springtime the landscape has an abundance of primroses, daffodils, bluebells plus the natural hedgerows bursting with pink Campion, honeysuckle and the fragrant May blossom

Our cottages are well equipped and comfortable and are ideal for couples and families with older children. Each one is double glazed with thick stone walls, beamed ceilings, slate flagstone floors and thick oriental rugs. Cosy in winter and cool in the summer. Relax in the evenings on the patio outside.

Situated on the Lizard Peninsula there is also plenty to do in the local area. We are close to Helston, Falmouth and Penzance.
There is coarse fishing at Stithians and Argyll reservoirs; plus windsurfing and canoeing at Stithians and sailing at the Helford Passage. Horse riding is available at Newtown.

Inglenook Double Bedroom and Lounge

SLEEPS 4 (OR 3 + COT)

Skilfully restored to retain the character and unique charm of a stone walled and beamed Cornish cottage, this middle cottage has two comfortable bedrooms, one double with brass bedstead and one twin. A cot is available if required.

The living room features a large Inglenook granite fireplace exposed during the renovation work, which now houses a gas wood effect burner also running radiators in the bedrooms. There is also a colour TV and video.

There is an attractive modern bathroom with a pine-clad ceiling. The kitchen has a traditional slate flag floor with gas cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave, matching quality china, all necessary kitchen utensils and all the usual modern facilities including a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, electric blanket. Indeed almost everything required to ensure your stay is as trouble free as possible. Tea towels and fluffy bath towels are supplied, together with freshly laundered crisp white sheets and now there are also separate laundry room facilities including automatic washing machine and tumble dryer.

The patio area and furniture also means you can sit in the sun and chat into the evening. There is ample parking.

This non-smoking cottage is suitable for those requiring maximum room and comfort whilst still retaining cottage charm. A welcome tea tray awaits you with traditional saffron cake.

Granary Double Bedroom and Lounge

A delightful little end cottage also restored to feature stone walls and traditional beamed ceilings is ideally suited to accommodate two adults or a family with one child plus a baby in a small carry cot.

It has a main double bedroom with ensuite shower room and modern toilet. There is a single half galleried bedroom with sloping ceiling.

The kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave features pine cupboards, an attractive breakfast bar and a natural slate flag floor -matching quality china, all necessary kitchen utensils and all the usual modern facilities including a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, electric blanket. Tea towels and fluffy bath towels are supplied, together with freshly laundered crisp white sheets. Indeed almost everything required to ensure your stay is as trouble free as possible.

The comfortably furnished lounge features a granite lintled fireplace with a gas log effect fire. This non-smoking cottage is available for short breaks from £144. A welcome tea tray awaits you with traditional saffron cake.

Groom Double Bedroom and Kitchen

Recently renovated to the same high standard as our other cottages, Groom Cottage is a detached property featuring stone walls, beamed ceilings and has electric fires for heating and is ideal for a honeymoon couple or romantic breaks. This cosy little detached cottage accommodates two people with one double bedroom with 4ft iron / brass bedstead, ensuite shower room and toilet.

The kitchen / diner has a slate flag floor, pine cupboards, ample working surfaces, gas for cooking as well as a fridge, dishwasher and microwave, matching quality china, all necessary kitchen utensils and all the usual modern facilities including a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, electric blanket. Fresh bed linen, tea towels and fluffy bath towels are supplied, together with freshly laundered crisp white sheets and now there are also separate laundry room facilities including automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. Indeed almost everything required to ensure your stay is as trouble free as possible.
