Bayview Guest House stands on Polkirt Hill in Mevagissey with spectacular views of the harbour and St. Austell Bay.

Situated on the South West Coastal Path we are ideally located as a base to explore the area on foot or by bicycle.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan are located nearby and can be reached by car, bus or via a delightful woodland walk. The Eden Project in St. Austell is 9 miles away and can be reached by car, bicycle or by regular daily bus service from the village.

ACCOMMODATION

We offer two rooms comprising one king size double (or twin), and one double, all have en-suite shower rooms, television, digital radio and tea and coffee making facilities.

We also have a Therapy room

We can provide ironing facilities and a hair dryer on request. If there is anything you require but do not see in your room please ask and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The Mermaid Room is a spacious king size double (or twin) room and offers panoramic views of the harbour and St. Austell Bay. From the table and chairs in the bay window you can watch Mevagissey at work, rest and play. The views are spectacular all year round and at any time of the day. The harbour is regularly visited by a range of wildlife, you may be lucky and spot a seal or a dolphin as well as a range of sea birds and waders.

The Seahorse Room is a cosy and comfortable double room that offers a welcoming and comfortable nights sleep.

Therapy Room Offering Reiki Healing, Indian Head Massage and meditation practice in our peaceful therapy room. Booking advisable.

Please note that the Seahorse Room does not have sea views.

LOCATION

It's fun wandering around Mevagissey exploring ancient alleyways and narrow, steep streets. There are many shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants to visit. Local history is explored in the museum and local fish are exhibited in the aquarium.

The surrounding area offers many opportunities for walking along the spectacular coastline and undulating countryside. There are many gardens and houses to visit and lots of other picturesque towns and villages within easy reach.
