The Barns This courtyard of traditional Cornish stone-built barns has been recently converted to provide striking accommodation, retaining original features and with amenities to the highest standard.

The barns are in a secluded position, adjoining fields in a quiet valley on the edge of Mullion Village, about 6 miles from Helston and 36 miles from Truro.

They are 5 minutes walk from the village centre, where there are shops, tea rooms, churches and pubs. A ten-minute walk down the valley leads to Polurrian Cove, or connects with the spectacular scenery of the coastal path leading to nearby coves at Mullion and Poldhu or further round the Lizard Peninsula to Kynance, Cadgwith and Carleon.

Local Area - The Mullion area of Cornwall's south coast has plenty of sandy coves for swimming as well as spectacular coastal scenery. Mullion is also within easy driving distance of:

  • North Coast resorts like St Ives and St Agnes
  • South Coast sites of interest like the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Trebah Gardens
  • Fishing communities along the coast, including Penzance, Mousehole and Land's End
  • The Helford River and other areas of boating interest like St Mawes

There is a golf course nearby and family entertainment in the area include riding, fishing, boat trips, helicopter rides to Scilly Isles, Poldark Mine, the seal sanctuary at Gweek and a theme park at Helston.
