Visitors can sit end enjoy the tranquility or go by boat to explore the meandering Fal estuary. Many of Cornwall's attractions are nearby - beautiful beaches, dramatic coastline, traditional fishing villages, Eden Project, National Maritime Museum, Land's End, Tate Gallery in St Ives, the Lizard, Bodmin Moor, historic houses and over 70 gardens open to the public. The Scilly Isles can be visited on a day trip by sea or air.

Waterside Accommodation.

All the accommodation at Bar Creek is right on the water's edge with excellent river views. Each property is self-contained, furnished to a very high standard with own telephone, television and DVD. Heating , cooking and all appliances are electric and is included in the price.

Washing machine and dryer are available on site. Beds are made up for you on arrival, so you just need to bring your own towels.

Waterside 1. Sleeps 4. (1 double and 1 twin room). Next to Tresillian this property has a wonderful river view. There are two bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower. There is a spacious open plan living room with kitchen and dining area, which has a good view of the river. Outside there is a lovely terraced area where you can sit and enjoy the view.

Balcony Flat 2. Sleeps 4. (1 double and 1 twin room). It has an open plan sitting and dining/kitchen area with door onto balcony overlooking the river. Each of the bedrooms has its own basin and the bathroom has a bath.

Balcony Flat. Sleeps 6. (1 double 2 twin rooms). Part of an old waterside house with balcony overlooking the river. Access is from the garden alongside. Pleasant sitting room with open fire and door onto balcony and separate kitchen/dining room. The main bedroom overlooks the river and has en-suite shower, basin and w.c. There is also a separate bathroom with bath.

Tresillian. Sleeps 6/7. (1 double and 2 twin rooms). A very spacious flat below Balcony Flat 2 with a wonderful view of the Tresillian river. The double bedroom has a en-suite shower room, the twin rooms have their own basins and there is also a separate bathroom with bath and shower. The large living room with river view has a single sofa bed and joins the open plan dining area and kitchen. Outside is a lovely terrace where you can sit overlooking the river.

Dogs are welcome at Bar Creek for a small extra charge.
