ACCOMMODATION
Barclay House lies on the edge of Looe, an
historic Cornish fishing village dating from the 12th century. Carved
into the hillside overlooking the East Looe river, this six acre property
has breathtaking views over the water and countryside beyond, yet we are
only 10 minutes walk from the town, harbour, beach and sea.
Originally built around 1890 as a Victorian
family villa of uncompromising architecture.
- This wonderful 10 bedroom house has a spacious elegance and magnificent
relaxed air about it.
- We have been captivated daily by its fabulous position and the ever
changing scenery.
- Located on the ground floor of the house are the restaurant, lounge
bar and sitting room complete with panoramic terrace overlooking the
water (when the tide is in that is!).
- Drinks, including local Camel Valley wines are served al fresco when
possible.
- New state of the art gymnasium and sauna available to all guests!.
- Or enjoy some peace in our gardens and woodland.

by the Brooks family awaits, as does ample secure complimentary parking.
- Our eight self catering cottages share this unrivalled location and
offer the ultimate in luxury self-catering accommodation. We offer one,
two and three bedroom holiday cottages - each cottage is individually
decorated and furnished to achieve a unique interior style.
- To further enhance the Barclay House holiday cottage experience -
a heated outdoor swimming pool nestles in a sunny corner terraced above
the lawn waiting to refresh you during those hot summer days.
- Access into 3 acres of adjacent private woodland, mainly oak coppice
has been opened up for our holiday cottage guests to enjoy.
