Cornwall, the land of legend, with its rich and colourful history, has always fascinated those who visit but should you find museums boring and history books dull, don't miss a visit to TUNNELS THROUGH TIME where scenes of yesteryear are re-created with flair and artistry.

Walk through this splendid mix of fact and fiction and come face to face with a wonderful array of colourful characters from the county's romantic and turbulent past, including The Giant "Bolster", King Arthur and his trusted magician and mentor, Merlin, as well as pirates, smugglers and cave dwellers.

Tunnels Through Time also tells the enchanting story of Morvenna, a beautiful mermaid blessed with the gift of granting wishes.

This splendid museum certainly brings Cornwall's rich and colourful history to life and is definitely an attraction not to be missed. So if the rain is lashing down, or the wind is too wild, head for TUNNELS THROUGH TIME a dry haven offering a warm welcome.

The realistic and well-crafted displays include dungeon scenes. These are separate from the main area so the young or squeamish can avoid them... the original visitors were not so lucky!

Well behaved dogs, on leads, are welcome when it's quiet (please check with staff on the day of your visit). Still photography is permitted but not video or cine filming.
