Welcome to Atlantic View Holidays. We provide self-catering accommodation in two houses in New Polzeath, between Port Isaac and Rock, in Cornwall.

The properties have been inspected by the English Tourist Board and awarded the top grade of 5 stars for the house and 3 stars for the Coach House.

Both properties overlook one of the finest beaches on the North Cornwall coast and are in an outstandingly beautiful area.

Tariff 2007/2008:

This recently refurbished accommodation is luxurious and the views magnificent. It is only a one minute walk to the beach. There is ample parking for 4 cars at the rear and a split-level slate patio with barbeque and large balcony facing the beach.

The accommodation consists of two double bedrooms with 6' wide zip/link beds, one with ensuite bathroom and access to the balcony, three twin bedrooms and one bunk room with additional single bed and full size 'pull-out' bed. There are two further bathrooms and two shower rooms. In addition two of the bathrooms also have showers.

The kitchen/dining room and utility room are very well equipped, including a four oven Aga, additional double electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave and facilities to rinse and hang wetsuits.

Other facilities include: telephone, TVs in all bedrooms and sitting room, Sky Plus, 2 videos, DVD, music centre, ironing facilities, hair dryer and electric shaving points. Linen and bath towels, but not swimming towels, are provided.

Broadband internet access, both wireless and via a cable is now available

The coach house enjoys the same superb position as the main house, and has also been recently refurbished.

There is parking for one car at the rear and a small patio with access to an area of lawn which is shared with the house. BBQ provided.

The accommodation consists of one bedroom with a 5' 6" zip/link bed and one with bunks and a single bed.

There is a cloakroom upstairs and a large shower downstairs with facilities to rinse and hang wetsuits. The dining room has a wonderful view to the beach and the sitting room is comfortable.

The kitchen is equipped with electric oven, washing machine/tumble drier, fridge, freezer and microwave.

Other facilities include night storage heating, television, video, DVD, music centre, ironing facilities, hair dryer and electric shaving point. Linen and bath towels, but not swimming towels, are provided.

Wireless internet access may be available, but 100% reliability cannot be guaranteed.

Children are very welcome at both properties, but we regret that dogs are not accepted, and that these are no-smoking properties.

Something for everyone - Rock, so beloved of the late John Betjeman, who is buried in the quaint church of St. Enedoc which was dug out of the sand dunes 100 years ago, is famous for its watersports including sailing, wind-surfing and water-skiing. The area is also a magnet for golfers with the famous links course of St. Enedoc a short distance away, and the new inland course at Roserrow Golf and Country Club, discounted membership of which is included in your holiday, only 2 miles away.

The Camel Trail, a disused railway line which runs along the south bank of the river Camel from Bodmin to Padstow via Wadebridge, is a popular route for walkers, cyclists and horse riders.

A short ferry ride across the Camel estuary from Rock will bring you to the quaint and picturesque harbour town of Padstow. Prideaux Place, a brisk walk away up the hill behind Padstow is worth a visit. The town is famous for its 'Obby Oss' celebrations on May Day and for the Seafood Restaurant owned by Rick Stein.

Other houses worth visiting in the area include Lanhydrock, and Pencarrow. The fabulous Eden Project near St. Austell will provide a wonderful day out. Garden lovers could combine this with a visit to the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Discounted membership of Roserrow provides a range of leisure activities within 5 minutes drive. Situated behind Polzeath, activities include golf, tennis, superb indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna and a well equipped gymnasium. Beauty therapy treatments are also available. The club house has a family restaurant and the Sunday lunch carvery is particularly good.
