Anjarden Farm built in the 18th Century, is three granite barns converted into one 'L' shaped ddddwelling. Set across a courtyard from Anjarden farmhouse, with 360 degree panoramic views, looking south out of the valley towards Lamorna Cove. A tranquil rural setting of natural charm and beauty in the heart of “Old Cornwall” . The town of Penzance is only four miles away and Lands End, with it’s magnificent sunsets, just six miles away.

Accommodation

Enjoy the freedom of catering for yourself in the luxurious, beautifully restored single-story detached stone barn. Whilst converted and equipped to a high standard great care has been taken to preserve the old beams and stone work. The spacious open plan living area is striking. The polished wooden flooring and well equipped kitchen compliment the fire place with it’s granite lintel and wood burner.

Colour washed walls, pretty bed drapes, a four poster bed and a dual aspect outlook over open valley and courtyard make this a haven of peace, quiet and comfort. Guests have their own enclosed garden, patio and barbeque area. A double sofa bed and high chair are also available.

Although no longer a working farm there are a variety of farm pets; a miniature Shetland pony, horse, dogs, and a Vietnamese Pot-bellied pig all of which are sure to delight children and adults alike. Whether you plan a relaxed or energetic holiday in this peaceful rural retreat we hope to make your stay comfortable and happy.

Accommodation: Entrance hall. Open plan living room with sofa-bed *, kitchen and dining area. Digital TV, Video, DVD and Stereo. Wood burner, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. Bedroom 1 with double four poster bed and duvet. Bedroom 2 with twin beds, duvets and ensuite shower room with electric shower, WC and wash basin. A further bathroom with bath, shower attachment, WC and wash-basin.

Facilities and services: are inclusive of electricity, gas and heating. Wireless Broadband router. Bed linen. Towels supplied on request (cost £5.00). High chair. A cot is not provided so please bring your own travel cot. Logs for woodburner: 1st basket free, further logs supplied at cost.

Miscellaneous: private parking for two cars. Patio furniture and barbeque. Shop three miles. Pub two miles. Public telephone 0.5 miles. Short breaks available. Open all year. Arrival/Departure Saturday.

An ideal base for; exploring, pony trekking, fishing, surfing, golfing or walking the many miles of glorious coastline and open moorland. Magnificent beaches on north and south coasts just ten minutes by car. The local traditional beamed pubs and restaurants are well worth a visit too: All this within four miles of Anjarden. Lands End airport only two miles away, offers scenic flights and Penzance offers all the amenities you would expect of a small town; cinema, art galleries, museums, antiques, gift shops a variety of restaurants and pubs. There is also a heliport for trips to the Isles of Scilly and boat trips can be taken from the harbour.
