Ambledown cottage, converted in 1998, stands in an enviable position ¾ of a mile from the village of Chapel Amble. Reached via its own private access from the lane, the property has a large parking and amenity area to the front.

The rear patio area faces south west and takes full advantage of the warmth of the sun. Behind the cottage, and separated from the patio by low fencing, is a large pond inhabited by both domestic and wild duck. These are joined around the cottage by the owners geese and hens creating great interest for children and adults alike. The glorious views stretch over green fields to Amble Village and beyond.

Accommodation

The property has all the benefits associated with modern luxury living and is fully fitted as follows;

Entrance lobby, cloakroom with toilet and wash hand basin.

Kitchen /dining area with electric hob and oven, microwave, refrigerator, deep freeze, washing machine, dishwasher and dining table for 4 people.

Lounge with comfortable seating for 4, radio, TV and DVD recorder.

Two bedrooms to sleep 4 ( 1 double & 1 twin ).

Bathroom including toilet and bath with shower over.

Location

Our village pub (3/4 mile) serves excellent food & local real ales. Chapel Amble is the ideal central location from which to explore the whole of Cornwall, & whatever your leisure time activities may be, from sunbathing to walking, cycling & water sports, this area can provide the very best, including the famous St.Enodoc Golf Club at Rock.

After a relaxing day on the glorious sandy beaches of Rock, Daymer Bay & Polzeath, treat yourself to an evening meal at one of the areas famous restaurants - Jamie Olivers Fifteen at Watergate Bay, Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant or Paul Ainsworths Number 6 at Padstow or Nathan Outlaw at The St.Enodoc Hotel, Rock.

Well rested & well fed - ideal ingredients for a perfect holiday.

Tariff & Availability

Prices range from £295 - £900 per week

The cottage is usually hired in intervals of one week, running from Saturday pm to Saturday am.

2 night short breaks are available and will be charged at 50% of the weekly rate. 3 + 4 night short breaks will be charged at 70% of the weekly rate.
