The cottage is situated 5 minutes walk from the picturesque harbour in Mevagissey, with its interesting shops and restaurants, in an area designated to be of outstanding beauty. Polstreath beach is a 10 to 15 minute walk, along the coastal path.

Cliff Street becomes pedestrian access only soon after the cottage but it's possible to drive down to unload a car before parking nearby, which means that there is no passing traffic and the only noise is that of the seagulls.

ACCOMMODATION

The downstairs accommodation comprises a kitchen, dining room, sitting room and lavatory. There is a double sofa bed in the sitting room, should it be required. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a second lavatory.

The cottage is spacious, light and airy, yet parts of it date back to the 1700's. It is painted off-white throughout and has sanded, varnished wooden floors with rugs. All the rooms measure about 10' by 12' and the kitchen and dining room are linked by a large archway. The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, electric cooker, kettle and toaster, fridge/freezer and microwave.

There are open fires in the dining and sitting rooms and electric night storage heaters throughout, with a fan heater and oil-filled radiator provided as back up. There's a television, DVD and video in the sitting room and a portable stereo/radio, which plays CD's and cassettes. An iron and ironing board and hair dryer are provided.

One bedroom has a king-sized bed and the second has two single beds. Both have canvas wardrobes, bedside tables and lamps. The furnishings throughout are to a high standard, combining modern and antique furniture.

The cottage has a small shared courtyard, which gets the sun for most of the day and there is patio furniture.
