Adamsfield Fishery
Log Cabins Sleeping 4 and

Adamsfield Fishery is peacefully situated in the beautiful
North Cornish countryside. It consists of over three and half acres of
spring fed lakes that support a wide variety of coarse fish and wildlife.
The fishery is away from the main roads but the bustling towns of Launceston,
Camelford and Bude are just a short drive away.
The Cabins
Kingfisher
and Woodpecker. Both of these recently completed cabins are ready
to hire for £45 per night, minimum of three nights booking. (This includes
fishing). Night fishing is extra and bookable when people get here. All
bedding is provided and so is electric and gas. A television is also provided
along with electric heating.
Bodmin Moor and the surfing beaches of Crackington Haven
and Widemouth Bay are within easy reach. There is a local petrol station
and post office where daily supplies can be purchased.
The fishery is set in thirteen acres of pastureland and
many different varieties of wildlife can be found here. It is home to
deer, foxes, rabbits and various types of wild birds.
The Lakes
There are three lakes all fed by spring water on the land.
Each lake has its own islands which provide plenty of pockets of fish
which are within easy casting from the margins. The depths of the lakes
vary between 2ft at the edges to over 14ft in the deepest parts.
All the lakes are easily accessible and all the pegs are
a generous size to enable the angler to set up equipment comfortably.
There is space behind most of the pegs to accommodate shelters for when
night fishing is available.
On the lower match lake there is disabled access to two
of the pegs. These pegs can be pre-booked if required. We have a good
range of coarse fish, including mirror, crucian, ghost and common carp, tench,
bream, golden rudd and some good sized perch.
A good number of the carp are in double figures and provide
for some exciting fishing. We welcome all levels and skills of angling
to our lakes and we have plenty of parking close to the lakes.
