ideal touring base, from Marine Crescent it is easy to leave
the town and explore the area including the beautiful Roseland Peninsula
or Helford Passage, the Lizard, Britain's most southerly point is
just a pleasant drive away.
Penzance and St. Ives are noted for the many artist's
galleries, the drive along the North road between the two towns
takes you along some of the most dramatic coastline in the area.
Falmouth is a flourishing Cornish resort with
a beautiful, natural harbour and a charming mix of well known high
street and quaint individual shops in the main street. A variety
of interests are catered for in this thriving town. These include
outdoor theatre and concerts, regattas, fishing and boating trips,
art galleries, Pendennis Castle and numerous gardens to visit both
in and around Falmouth, not forgetting the four main beaches of
Gyllynvase, Castle, Swanpool and Maenporth.

The property consists of a lounge/diner, kitchen,
three double bedrooms, one single bedroom and bathroom.
The main entrance to the house is through the front
door and a porch way with ample space to store outdoor clothing.
The hallway leads to the downstairs rooms.
The lounge/diner, situated at the front of the property, is furnished
with two settees and two armchairs, antique pine coffee table, television,
a drop leaf table and chairs and a window seat which extends around
the bay window.
The downstairs bedroom is to the rear of the property
and has 1 pine double bed, 2 wardrobes, bedside cabinet with lamp
and chest of drawers.
The kitchen has fitted antique pine units, a microwave,
electric oven with extractor hood, washing machine and fridge. A
chest freezer is conveniently situated in the hallway in a walk-in
cupboard. The kitchen has a door, which is the rear entrance to
the property and exits onto the courtyard. There is a sunny, secluded
courtyard to the rear of the property. Some patio furniture is kept
in the outdoor storage room.
The light and airy upstairs landing leads to three
further bedrooms and the bathroom. The two double bedrooms both
have a pine double bed, a bedside cabinet with bedside lamp, chest
of drawers and a wardrobe.
The front single bedroom is furnished with a single
pine bed, bedside cabinet, corner wall shelf unit and built in wardrobe.
The bathroom contains the bath which has a shower
at one end with shower curtains, toilet and washbasin with mirror.
The bathroom also houses the Combi heater.
An upstairs storeroom is also located next to the
bathroom. This room will be locked and not accessible during periods
when the property is being let.
Duvets and pillows are provided for all beds, Please
bring your own bed-linen and towels.
The property is cleaned between each let. If you
should need to use cleaning equipment there is a vacuum cleaner,
broom, dustpan and brush in the walk-in cupboard. There is an automatic
washing machine. In the courtyard at the rear of the property there
is provision for hanging washing to dry. An iron and ironing board
are to be found in the walk-in cupboard in the hallway.
